About This Project

The proposed model for Fim company offers a synthesis between the versatility of the retractile parasol type, for a long time produced by the company based near Novara, and the aesthetics of new productive lines called Flexy (velarium type), that represents new trends in the market. As a result the new model combines the qualities of both typologies but it stands as an original product with its own features, non actually detectable in products from other competitors. Unlike common velarium type, it minimize the whole size when the parasol is closed, due to the retractile system. Adjustability on different orientations, both horizontally both vertically, allows a complete freedom to configure multiple positions. The attention at the design definition led to achieve a sharp linear aspect of all components, including the base and the post. Main profiles are designed to integrate lighting accessories along the channeled sections.
