HEXAGON TOWER IN ROMFORD

About This Project

A residential complex for 92 units disposed on 10th floor impress on a urban void previously occupied by a large parking area. The complete renovation of the adjacent Hexagon House complex  from office function to housing, started a transformation process of the surroundings towards residential purposes. In this context the new tower fits a kind of settlement made by small-medium sized units, but conforming high quality standars of the whole complex: composition of terraced volumes creates large roof gardens emerging as urban lanscape elements, while the facade design with alternating disposition of windows and cladding panels generates a dynamic rhythm and a lively pattern that attenuates the repetition and planimetric symmetry. Each apartment owns covered amenities that hollow the facade in depht and accentuate plastic dimension of the tower.
